Beauty Experiment: Coconut Oil

My friend, Virginia, got an inside tip from her sister who is an esthetician – apply Virgin Coconut Oil to your face and body before bed for glowing, radiant, moisturized skin.

I picked up a jar of this oil at Whole Foods (approximately $10) and was surprised that you have to heat it up to liquify it (it’s solid at room temperature).  So definitely account for that.  The jar says to let it sit for an hour and then rinse it off, but I’m *pretty* sure Virginia told me to sleep in it, so…. here we go.  I may wake up to a field of zits.  Whatever.

The oil smells heavenly & Summer is following me around and licking my legs.  Stay posted for an update.  I’m going to try doing this a few times this week!

    Totally agree, coconut oil does wonders for your skin, body and for weight loss. I’ll be doing a post shortly which you may be interested in as I have recently incorporated coconut oil into my daily routine and I recommend it to any woman 🙂
