Rainy Day Work Attire

28 May

By Whitney

It is officially warm out.  The only bad part about spring heat is that the rain is in full effect.  I always struggle with how to dress in the summer heat + rain combination but I found the key piece to getting to the office in style…the cropped skinny pant.  I am a huge fan of JCrew Factory’s (the price is pretty great and the fit is excellent).  For casual days, a chambray shirt is easy and works well.  For work, I throw on a blousy top to not be too tight for an office look.   I love these Chooka flats to commute in!   Get yourself a nylon tote that won’t get ruined in the water and a basic belted trench to throw on top and you are ready to battle the elements.

Rain Apparel

Clockwise from top left:  JCrew Keeper Chambray Shirt – $78 // Chooka Duck Skimmer – $55 // DVF Fenobe Silk Peasant Top – $135 (was $265) // Tri-Coastal Designs Nautical Umbrella – $14 // Mark and Graham Club Tote – $100 // JCrew Factory Winnie Pants – $65 // Zara Raincoat – $130
