Hello Monday…ugh. What a Sunday, right? Fashion Week, US Open finals AND first NFL Sunday? It was a good one. Thank you, sports. I was perusing the Loeffler Randall fall collection this weekend and just wanted to share my favorites right now since many of these pieces are so interesting and unique. Owning any one of the pieces below would step up my fall fashion game 100%.
Top Row: Nicola Knot D’Orsay Pump – $325 // Industry Bucket Bag (fringe + bucket bag = 100) – $395 // Ambra Lace Up Flat (glad this trend is sticking around) – $295 // Mazzy Slip On Sneaker – $325
Bottom Row: Junior Lock Clutch (this combo of silver + calf hair is unreal) – $375 // Pari Fringe Pump ( can’t have enough of these Paris!) – $395 // Shearling Bomber (or this jacket if you want to be a bit more subtle) – $1295 // Jolie Kitten Heel – $350
Why not welcome spring with your feet and not just your wardrobes??? I love the idea of pairing transitional pieces like a solid black or navy dress with a fun pair of heels to add some flavor to the outfit. This weather can’t not put a smile to your face so even if you’re stuck in a windowless office, your shoes can do it too!
Top Row: SJP Sister Pointy Toe Pumps (these are prob my sissies favorites and she’ll want us to get matching) – $355 // Tory Burch Issy Floral Pumps – $295 // Marc by Marc Jacobs Floral Pump – $309
Bottom Row: Guess Rabbit Pump (I know, Guess!) – $95 // Loeffler Randall Pari Pump (my favorites) – $295 // Manolo Blahnik BB Pumps – $695
Holiday collections are in full force and it’s my favorite time to shop. So many dresses and fun shiny things to pick from but let’s start from the bottom up with your feetsies. Kate Spade, as always, has a holiday collection that is swoon-worthy and her shoes are no exception. Go get some sparkle!!!
Top Row: MICHAEL Michael Kors Yvonne Bootie – $190 // Kate Spade Lissie Heels – $350 // Jeffrey Campbell Dulce Heel – $190
Bottom Row: Tory Burch Mariel Sandal – $395 // Ted Baker Azaural Pump – $240 // Kate Spade Lovely Pump – $350
I’ve been on the hunt for a replacement to my black pointy toe pumps because mine seemed to have stretched out. While online browsing, I came across the custom Manolo Blahnik BB Pump shop at Neimans and I was entranced. You basically can create your own perfect pump (Carrie fans rejoice!!). There are 5 different heel heights (I’m leaning towards the 90mm or 3.5″) and 20 different colors to choose from. Pick from a lot of basics like a navy suede or go for a gorge pair like the stunning anthracite croc. The prices are high (the black pair I’m looking at are $595) but get these rubber soled and they will be your go-to’s for years. This is a pricey post and I try not to do too many of these but how fun to pick the perfect shoe??
It was a crazy week last week so I’m so sorry for putting PP on the back burner. We are back this week everyone and oh, are we ready. It’s crazy that it’s 90 degrees out and fall is already starting but there are some things to focus on to take you between seasons, a good flat being one of them. My fav part about spring and fall are being able to wear skinnies with flats and not be freezing/sweating. You can never have too many pairs of flats (as long as they are unique!).
Top Row: Loeffler Randall Gray Karlotta Flat (love the black accents) – $250 // Chloe Scalloped Flat in navy suede (thanks to my wonderful boyfriend for getting me these flats as they really are the most comfortable / gorgeous flats in the world – $495 // See by Chloe Studded Leather Flat (also love it in gray) – $180
Bottom Row: JCrew Factory Emery Flat in Navy (love this navy) – $78 // Mint & Rose Amalfi Espadrille in rose gold (perfect for an Indian summer) – $125 // JCrew Harper Scalloped Flat (THIS PINK but also the cobalt) – $128
I came across these Tory Burch wedges the other day and was like, “Oh hi bow peep toe wedges, you are so cute and perfect and would look so great on my feetsies”. And then I saw they were $285 which simply does not fit into my summer budget. I was sad (also a result from “my-favorite-holiday-weekend-is-over” depression but that’s another story) so I went on a hunt to find an alternative and found these adorable Vince Camuto shoes that are pretty much spot on. I even love that they are 3″ – my favorite heel height! These are just so perfect for pretty much any outfit. Summer wedges = best.
Splurge: Tory Burch Trudy Patent Open Toe Wedges – $285
Steal: Vince Camuto Varro Wedges – $80
Every summer, my go-to sandal is a pair of Jack Rogers and while I will always love my jacks, I am sort of sick of them. I went on the hunt to find an easy pair of sandals to just “slide” into and came up with a few options that don’t include painful toe situations and will look great with a maxi or a pair of shorts. Summertime to me means easy accessories and the below are exactly that!
Happy Monday everyone and happy Saks’ Friends and Family. 25% off of everything with code FRNFAM through next Monday April 28th(!!). There’s a ton of great stuff for spring out there but I always use this F&F to take a peek at my favorite shoes, Ferragamos. I’m not saying these are great deals, but for shoes that I wear for almost every occasion (work, holidays, weddings) it’s always nice to get at least a little something off!!! Not every pair is eligible for F&F but the below are (and see the rest here).
My Muse Flats (in black or pink) – $281 (were $375)
Pakuna T Strap Wedge Sandals ($$$ but so gorgeous!) – $506 (were $675)
Pola Patent Pump (these are a classic in the nude or the black. Get them rubber soled and wear them for ten years like I have with the closed pump version) – $431 ( were $575)
Varina Bow Flat (the all time classic) – $338 (were $450)
So, I have started refreshing my wardrobe for spring – and I keep thinking that spring is going to come, and then she doesn’t. Anyway, I’ll be prepared once she shows up. I found two great pairs of shoes on a recent trip to Charleston and I just have to share —
Frye Reina Bootie
I got these in this gorgeous stone color because I already have a pair of camel booties that I have all but worn out. If you’re a first time bootie purchaser – they also come in a lovely camel hue, that may be a bit more versatile depending on your wardrobe.
Joie Lexington Bootie
I am obsessed with these booties and they make a great transition piece because they look great with jeans.
I clearly must be in shoe mode. When walking past Club Monaco this weekend, I bypassed the mannequins and stared at their feet looking at their their spring shoe collection. I almost ran in and purchased these Erika snakeskin black & white flats immediately but I held back but it’s so harddddddd. I love Club Monaco for their clean lines and general simplicity of their clothes. Nothing is ever over the top yet their pieces are always elegant, shoes included. I’m loving the spring colors and the studded pumps would be a great accessory to my basic black work wear. Sigh.
Erika Snake Effect Flats (my favorite on this list)- $230 // Erika Black Bow Flats – $230 // Jamie Studded Pump – $329 // Remi Suede Pump (in trendy mint) – $298 // April Suede Pump – $250 //
