Another Round of Statement Necklaces

25 Sep

By Whitney

What a surprise, I am wanting another statement necklace.  I wear so many plain black dresses to work but I always dress it up with a fun piece and it feels like I am not working in a boring corporate job.  So many fun ones out there and a few below are amazing pieces that do not break the bank.  Enjoy!!

Sprucing Up My Necklace Collection

I’m in the mood to buy a new necklace.  I’m trying to be good and not spend a lot for the rest of this summer so when I’m in the mood to buy something, a piece of moderately priced jewelry is the way to go.  Here are some of my favorite necklaces these days…Ugh. So tempting.  I have  so many solid dresses and tops that need  a little something to jazz it up.  Nothing works better than a statement necklace!

BaubleBar + Nordstroms = A+

Two of my favorite companies have come together and created a collection and I’m obsessed.  BaubleBar has created another collection for a retailer and I”m so glad they chose Nordstrom!  I love how the pieces are under $70 and I’m loving all of the fun spring colors.  Get yourself a statement necklace or just some fun bright studs to dress up your work wardrobe.  A few of the pieces have sold out but for now, my favorites are below.

Nordstrom + Baublebar

Splurge vs. Steal – Snake Cuff

One of my favorite go-to jewelry pieces that I own is a Kara Ross shirt cuff that I got at her sample sale last fall; I want more but they’re pricey little suckers.  I look forward to going again this November but for those not lucky enough to grab those great deals, Kara Ross cuffs can be expensive.  The snakeskin texture is awesome though and if you want to spend the money, you’ll wear it with just about everything so you won’t regret it but if you’re on a major budget this fall (as I am if you couldn’t figure it out with these posts) try these snakeskin cuffs from Baublebar.  They just came out so I have a feeling more colors will be added soon but these are great fall staples to get you through those winter months as well!

Kara Ross Cuffs:

Hunter Green – $315

Teal – $158 (currently on sale from $315)

Baublebar Cuffs:

Red Serpeant Cuff – $36

Blue Cobra Cuff – $36
